Press Release:
THE PERUKE MAKER Haunts Salem for Halloween
by Screenplay Writer Ruby Dominguez
October 15, 2009
Salem, MA Ruby Dominguez, writer of the new screenplay THE PERUKE MAKER – The Salem Witch Hunt Curse is making a big debut in Salem over the Halloween holiday. The author will be appearing at the Cinema Salem Cafe on October 30, 6:30pm-8:30pm. Ruby Dominguez is a meticulous researcher of the rich history rooted in Salem’s haunted past. Her screenplay is inspired by true events wrapped around a hair raising story of witchcraft. The screenplay, The Peruke Maker is about the unforgivable 17th century crime of being a witch, powerful curses and the age-old battle between good and evil.
It is a spine chilling and suspenseful story that focuses on the infamous Salem Witch Hunt Curse, an ancient and evil practice which is unearthed from necromancy and violates the course of natural events in a modern day world. The main characters Bridget and Sarah become inextricably bound across time and space as the peruke maker’s vengeful curse continues to threaten the virtuous during this relentless quest into the 21st century for an avenger of innocent blood.
This event comes to Salem during its most celebrated Halloween holiday and is sure to attract witch-hunt enthusiasts from all over the country. “I am looking forward to sharing a compelling story about the amazing historical relevance of this screenplay to the people of Salem” says Ms. Dominguez. She will be signing copies of The Peruke Maker at the Cinema Salem Cafe as well as speaking to her guests about Salem’s 17th century bizarre and deadly detour in American dark history and the exciting book video trailer will be broadcast at the Cinema Salem theater as well.
The Peruke Maker was published by Outskirts Press, inc. Denver, CO and is available at amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com worldwide.
About the Author:
Ruby Dominguez is based out of San Francisco, CA and is currently working on her next screenplay to add to her curse trilogy collection of screenplays. She will be in Salem, MA for the Halloween holiday October 29th through November 1st.
Thanks, Barry! It really was a fun chat and went by so fast. I am going to be a faithful listener from now on.

Hello! This is author Jonathan Maxwell (Murderous Intellectuals). I appeared on the radio program about two years ago. My second book has just been released. It’s called Piltdown Man and Other Hoaxes and examines scientific hoaxes through history. It also explores the ongoing debate between supporters of evolution and supporters of religious tradition. I was wondering if we could arrange a second interview. If you’d like, I could send you the e-version of the book. Could you please contact me at Vldmax@aol.com? Thanks!

Hey, I think your website might be having browser
compatibility issues. When I look at your blog site in
Firefox, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it
has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you
a quick heads up! Other then that, superb blog!
Hey would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using? I’m going to start my own
blog soon but I’m having a hard time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I had to ask!
Barry, Thank you so much for having me. You were gracious, a lot of fun, and put me at ease about discussing the Roma Series and about the writing process. It was a real pleasure and I hope that we can repeat it again. Best wishes, Gabriel Valjan
